charity work

I’ve been volunteering for Radio Cherwell, Oxford’s Hospital Radio station since 2006, hosting a variety of programmes, attending various public addresses across Oxfordshire and hosting a number of Outside Broadcasts at the hospitals we serve. I spent seven years hosting the flagship children’s show, The Weekend for Everything Show. The radio station plays a pivotal role in bringing smiles to patients across the wards and has become a strong link between patients, staff and visitors to the hospital trust it serves.

I also volunteer on a national level with the Hospital Broadcasting Association, a charity I’ve been involved with since 2015. My tenure began as the Home Counties Regional Rep, looking after 12 stations in the region. During a restructure, I became editor of the organisations On-Air magazine, a role I still hold today, alongside being a Trustee and the organisations Communications Executive.

I am experienced in using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programmes, including Photoshop, InDesign, Audition and Illustrator.
