Marketing is my forte and goes hand in hand with PR and Communications and I’ve been doing all three for a number of years now.
I lead on national campaigns for the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA), devising schedules, producing marketing materials and delivering the messages to the relevant audiences by the relevant methods.
From digital marketing (via websites, newsletters, social media, audio/visual) to traditional print marketing (brochures, flyers, postcards, magazines), I’ve got experience in producing all types of material for a variety of projects, no matter how big or small.
I manage and have knowledge of a number of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Periscope, which all enhance any marketing campaign.
I’ve written press releases that have been published in local media outlets and on sites which specifically target the organisations main audience base. I have a variety of contacts within the media industry and I understand the processes behind communicating your brand or product with the media.

Hospital Broadcasting Association – Communications Executive
Leading a small media team in promoting the delivery of the associations services to its member stations. Creating press releases, marketing strategies, press kits and working with member stations to publicise the work they do both locally & nationally.
I also produce the organisations quarterly On-Air magazine, that highlights the good news and stories of hospital broadcasters and their volunteers from across the country. The magazine is bold, bright and fresh. It’s a digital format that can easily be printed too.
Publicity Officer – Radio Cherwell
I’m responsible for the station’s publicity and marketing strategies, both internally amongst members, and externally to the local media and NHS Trusts. Writing Press releases, creating digital and print creative and managing social media.
